Request for Copy or Transcript of Tax Return

As part of tax relief for Californians impacted by winter storms, the IRS will waive the usual fees and requests for copies of previously filed tax returns. Impacted taxpayers should put the assigned Disaster Designation, “California, severe winter storms, flooding, and mudslides”, in bold letters at the top of Form 4506 or Form 4506-T, as appropriate.
